Happy Birth day to one of jamaican gratest Bob marley
Bob Marley's Life (1945-1981)
On Feb. 6, 1945, Robert Nesta Marley was born in Jamaica in Nine Miles within the Parish of St.Ann. His mother was an 18 year old Jamaican woman, Cedella Booker. Bob's father was a 50 year old English captain, Norval Sinclair Marley, who was stationed in Jamaica. Bob spent his early years with his mother in St. Ann, then during his teens they moved to Kingston, the capitol of Jamaica. Settling in Trench Town, a shanty town with in Kingston, Bob experienced a childhood filled with poverty and violence. After attending the Stepney School in Kingston, Bob spent some time aquiring a trade as a welder. During his youth, Bob developed a love for singing early on through his involvement in the church choir and the encouragement from friend Desmond Dekker.

Hit-makers The-Dream and Jermaine Dupri seem to have become involved in a public feud.
The super-successful producers who are both probably best known for their work
with Mariah Carey, took to Twitter to vent their frustrations surrounding
the success (or lack their of) of Carey's ‘Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel' LP.
The argument began on Dupri's Twitter page with the following post:

The-Dream, who was engaged in a heated argument with a group of Carey's fans,
then released the following statements about the situation via his own Twitter account:

In the recent documentary movie, "The Carter," Lil Wanye discusses his first sexual experience with some of his Young Money proteges. He claimed he was raped at the age of 11 and that he liked it. He says that Baby took him into a room full of men and instructed a female to give Lil Wayne oral sex.
Now I know that it may seem cool to have oral sex at 11 but to have it forced on you while grown men are watching is quite disturbing. If this were to happen to a female, everybody would be calling for Baby to be put in jail for life. Many people have speculated on the nature of Baby and Wayne's relationship, even claiming that Baby has sexually molested Wayne. I can't say for sure, but if child services would've found out that Baby had Lil Wayne perform a sex show for his friends, they would've taken him away ages ago.
25 Rules That Guys Wish Women Knew

The former singer from Diddy's MTV reality show Making the band 2 has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her own husband. Talk about making the cut.
Sara Stokes' bloody mug shot was taken after the protege was arrested for domestic voilence at their home in Moreno Valley, Calf. She's in rough shape.
Why is she so banged up?, you ask? Did someone go Chris Brown on this chick?
On the contrary, apparently.
According to Law enforcement sources, Sara stormed out of the house after arguing with husband Tony. She tripped, fell over and accused him of doing it.
Sources say Sara Stokes, who hurt her head in the fall, proceeded to grab a knife and stab Tony in the arm. Their three kids watched as it all went down.
Making the Band? More like Making the Bail for Sara Stokes!
Paramedics and police came. Stokes was arrested for assault with deadly weapon and domestic violence. The D.A. is deciding whether to charge the singer.
Sara's lawyer, Eric Kayira, issued this statement:
"Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured."
Well, that's one way to explain it away.

Rapper/singer Drake may have seriously injured his already-banged up knee on Friday night!!!
Lil Wayne 's "America's Most Wanted" touring partner was performing his breakthrough hit, Best I Ever Had, with Wayne when the former Degrassi: The Next Generation star collapsed in the middle of a spin!
Witnesses at the show in Camden, New Jersey, said Drake "put his head down because he was in so much pain."
Four men carried Drake off the stage and left Lil' Wayne hanging in the middle of the performance.
Oops!
Drake tore his ACL before the tour started, but made the decision to continue on with the tour, without the green light from his doc. The rapper's doctor warned Drake he may never walk again if he managed to tear his ACL a second time.
Let's hope that's not the case!!!

Seems like rapper Lil Wayne may already have some baby mama's drama on his hands.
its previously reported that Lil Wayne is expecting two children this fall
from two different well-known women - R&B singer Nivea and actress
Lauren London.
It's being alleged that people close to Lil Wayne (including his
ex-wife Toya and his soon-to-be baby's mother Nivea) are questioning
whether one of the children - the one being carried by Lauren London -
is in fact his child and are begging the rapper to get a DNA test as
soon as the child's born
Why are they so concerned? Well...
Nivea and Lauren are both EXACTLY 8 months pregnant. And Nivea was
supposedly spending a ton of time with Weezy around the time she
conceived.
So far though, we're told that Lil Wayne is refusing
to take the test as "He thinks he's sure so he doesn't want to take the
test."

The-Dream has recently announced that he will be retiring as a solo
artist after his third album Love King is released but still plans to
play the role of songwriter and producer.
"I am engaged and Love King is going to be my last album,"
The-Dream wrote on Twitter this week. "I will still be producing,
writing, and featuring on other artists' album though."
When
asked why he decided to call it quits, the Love vs. Money singer's
response was strikingly similar to rapper Jay-Z's reply to those that
questioned his sudden "retirement" in 2003... he wants to gracefully
bow out while at the top of his game.
"I've accomplished what
I've accomplished," the singer states. "I feel like I'd rather kill
The-Dream than somebody else kill me. So that's the big headline there,
killing The-Dream... It's over with, so nobody has to worry about 'Has
he lost it,' 'When's it gonna drop,' 'Where's it at.' I'm giving you
the last record 'cause I said it was the last record before you telling
me which one is the last record. I'll just tell you."
Love King is slated to drop December 8 and reportedly features a cover of the late Michael Jackson's hit Dirty Diana.
Kardashian and Reggie Bush break Up - Kim Kardashian And Reggie Bush Break Up is the drama or great news (depending on who you ask) that has hit the internet.Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have ended their long term relationship .According to Us Magazine :

I am betting that many little boys will get very excited after reading this.

President
Obama spoke at NAACP 100th Anniversary event in New York this evening.
For much of his 45 minutes Obama focused on issues facing the black
community urging parents to put away the Xbox and put kids to bed at a
reasonable hour. He also said,
"No one has written your destiny for you - Your destiny is in your hands, and don't you forget that. That's what we have to teach all of our children! No excuses! No excuses!"
Even as he urged blacks to take responsibility for themselves, he spoke of the societal ills - high unemployment, the housing and energy crisis - that have created the conditions for black joblessness. And he said the legacy of the Jim Crow era is still felt, albeit in different ways today.
Yet even after acknowledging that "the legacy of Jim Crow is still alive today", President Obama reverted back to his first thought saying...
"They might think they've got a pretty jump shot or a pretty good flow, but our kids can't all aspire to be LeBron or Lil Wayne. I want them aspiring to be scientists and engineers, doctors and teachers, not just ballers and rappers. I want them aspiring to be a Supreme Court justice. I want them aspiring to be president of the United States of America."
Tell me your thoughts, is this trend by President Obama because he cares for the success of Black America or is he really just another dumb, deaf and blind politician who views black Americans as lazy people who only make excuses?
