Mike Vick was released from the Atlanta Falcons today unfortunately they couldn't get his rights traded to another team. The GM for the club said, "We spent a significant amount of time this off-season trying to trade him to another NFL club, and we had some conversations with a few teams, but nothing materialized".

That was expected though, Mike should know that he has to show and prove first and then the contracts will come. Quite frankly, now might not be a bad time to get a degree under his belt.

At the same time, Mike's brother, Marcus is back in hot water. He is facing jail time for violating the conditions of his drunken-driving sentence.

LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson, the "King of Pop" who once moonwalked above the music world, died Thursday as he prepared for a comeback bid to vanquish nightmare years of sexual scandal and financial calamity. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating.

Word has been circulating about a will Michael Jackson signed in 2002. His former lawyer, John Branca plans to file that will in court within the next 24 days. In this will Micheal Jackson alledgedly left his estate to his mother, 3 children and some charities. But nothing for his father Joe Jackson.

"As for why Joe was left out - Jackson has said during his childhood his father beat him."

Everyone knows the abusive ways of Joe Jackson. But I have one question: Where would Michael Jackson be without Joe Jackson? Where would Beyonce be without Mathew Knowles? Where would Venus and Serena be without Richard Williams?
